• Can we bring our own furniture?
Your room is fully furnished but most of our residents personalise them by bringing small items of furniture, pictures, bedspreads and anything else which will make your room feel like home.

• Will I have a television in my room?
You are welcome to bring in your own television.

• Can I have a telephone in my room?
All rooms are fitted with a telephone point connected to our own system, so you can bring in your own telephone or we can supply one. There is no connection fee and each room has its own telephone number. There is a small monthly line rental charge, plus call charges and you will receive an itemised bill.

• What are the visiting hours?
Everyone loves to see friends and family, so just like at home visitors are welcome at any time.

• Can I bring my pets?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets, but we have a lovely dog visit us on a regular basis via Pets As Therapy. If your family or friends have a well behaved pet they are welcome to bring them to visit.

• Do I have to change my doctor & will I get help managing my medication?
You do not have to change your registered doctor if they are willing to travel outside their catchment area to visit you. If you prefer you can register with our local G.P. If you wish to manage your own medication, providing this can be done safely staff will help and support you to do this. Otherwise our staff our fully trained to monitor and administer medications to take the worry away and give you peace of mind.
